Obiettivi formativi
The course, divided into three parts, will develop the student's basic knowledge of "Weather Risk Management," thereby including the study of the definition of "weather risk," the analysis of the main industries affected by this type of "uncertainty and risk," and the evaluation of the fundamental strategies of "management" and "hedging" of weather and climate risk. A Weather and Climate Data Analysis Workshop will complete the course, which will be developed in the third and final part.

Risultati dell'apprendimento attesi
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to independently develop a climate analysis of atmospheric data and measurements to assess climate risk adaptation strategies.

The course will consist of lectures alternating with data analysis lab activities, during which students will be assigned a wind farm development project.
Students will be given the .ppt slides projected in the classroom to the students.

The exam will be oral, and the student will be required to present the paper developed in the third part of the course. A question related to the first or second part of the course will complete the exam
